Immigration is burning issue for many countries and people. Immigration is not easy especially when you are planning to settle in distant country. There are many legal issues related to immigration and you have to take permission from government to exit your land and enter into other country for living permanently. Immigration often affects the family badly. It is quite obvious that if you are planning to leave your country for making another country your permanent home then it may lead to unseen woes.

Following pointers describe the affects of immigration on your family:
  1. If your children are school going kids then changing the country can harm them in many ways. Studies will suffer badly because time is needed to establish and settle down in other country. It becomes difficult to start studies in the strange environment. New school and new friends is slightly awkward for kids. Planning of new schedule for adjusting the timings is essential and it takes lot of time to come on the right path.
  2. Children who are teenagers may face weird situation when immigration takes place. It is not possible to make friends fast in less time at certain age. College going students may find it difficult to adjust in the new environment and sometimes admission problem occur. Admission in colleges is not easy nowadays due to limited seats and increased competition.
  3. There may be language problem when you immigrate to foreign country and communication problems may take place. You have to learn new language for communicating with others and for making friends. Old people in the family find it difficult to learn new language for communication. It is not easy to learn new language in short duration.
  4. Friends and relatives are emotional hurdle for leaving the native land. It becomes difficult to deal with people who love you and are affected by your decision of leaving the native land. Head of the family may be grandfather or grandmother can find it difficult to leave the country where they have spent almost whole life.
  5. Sometimes if your financial condition is not sound then it may affect you badly. Countries which have higher currency exchange rate can make a dent in your wallet. Family is affected badly if the financial crisis ruins your living standard. Formalities to become the citizen of the particular country can lead to many legal question sessions.
There is limit to the number of immigration cases of a country during one year. Try to provide emotional backup to your family members before planning immigration.
